Online Lessons Technology

Golf Lesson Academy uses CUworld for our online lessons. To use CUworld you will need CUworld v7.x and the CUpals instant messaging client. Download software here CUworld uses pop ups to enter CUworld conference rooms.  You must not use a pop up blocker. Also have www.cuworld.com in your allow list for CUworld to function properly. 

CUworld v7.x is only available for Microsoft Windows operating systems. The minimum, and suggested, system requirements for each User Level are shown below: 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Operating System:
-Windows 98, Second Edition 
-Windows Professional 2000** 
-Windows XP Professional Edition
-Windows XP Home Edition

**With Service Pack 4

Internet Browser:
-Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6.0 and above, with "Cookies" enabled.

CPU:  Pentium II 450 Mhz or higher
RAM: 128M or higher

Internet Connectivity  56Kbps dial up modem or higher
(dedicated connection recommended).

The following to send video:
-Digital USB, firewire, or analog (color) video camera
-Video capture card (for analog cameras) and drivers (if needed)

The following to send audio:
-Microphone (Headset strongly recommended)
-Sound card and drivers (if needed)

The following to receive audio:
-Speakers or headset (Headset strongly recommended)
-Sound card and drivers (if needed)

Allow Pop ups:

SUGGESTED REQUIREMENTS
While users with slower systems and connections are able to sign up, they may not be able to access all of the features, or receive all of the performance enhancements that are available.
